Abstract

The pain that occurs in individuals for various reasons affects all areas of a person's life. One of these areas is undoubtedly working life. The sense of compassion, which is a concept associated with pain, also gains importance at this point. Formation of compassion sense in working life will contribute to both the sufferer and the organization and will help make the process more effective. For this reason, it is thought that the issue of compassion in working life should be examined. In this context, the research aims to bibliometric analysis of published works on compassion in working life. A total of 502 publications obtained from the Scopus database according to various parameters through the R program were examined. According to the results of the research, the number of publications on the subject has increased in general, the United States is the pioneer in the number of publications, and the word compassion fatigue is the most commonly used keyword. Future studies can be conducted on different parameters and the results can be compared, and it is thought that qualitative research on compassion in working life will contribute to the field.
