Çevre Tutkusunun, Yeşil Dönüştürücü Liderliğin ve Yeşil Örgüt İkliminin Çevreci Çalışan Davranışları Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, çevreci çalışan davranışları üzerinde çevre tutkusunun, yeşil örgüt ikliminin ve yeşil dönüştürücü liderliğin etkisini belirlemek ve çevreci çalışan davranışları ile yeşil dönüştürücü liderlik arasındaki ilişkide yeşil örgüt ikliminin aracılık rolünün olup olmadığını tespit etmektir. Bireysel bir unsur olarak çevre tutkusu, yönetsel bir unsur olarak yeşil dönüştürücü liderlik ve örgütsel bir unsur olarak yeşil örgüt iklimi çalışanların çevreci davranışlar göstermelerini etkileyen değişkenler olarak ele alınmış ve araştırma modeli ve hipotezler geliştirilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, basit rasgele örneklem yöntemi ile seçilen 244 bireyden çevrim içi anket tekniği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma hipotezleri, pearson korelasyon analizi, regresyon analizi ve Sobel Testi ile test edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları; çevre tutkusunun, yeşil dönüştürücü liderliğin ve yeşil örgüt ikliminin çevreci çalışan davranışlarını olumlu yönde etkilediğini göstermektedir. Ayrıca araştırma sonuçları, yeşil örgüt ikliminin yeşil dönüştürücü liderlik ile çevreci çalışan davranışları arasındaki ilişkide tam aracılık rolünün olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bu araştırma, örgütlerin sürdürülebilir çevre performansını iyileştirmeye yönelik yöneticilere önemli ipuçları sunmakta ve örgüt ortamında çevreci çalışan davranışlarını arttırmak için yapılması gerekenler konusunda onlara yol göstermektedir. Bu çalışmanın, yeşil örgütler konusunda ileriki yıllarda yapılacak araştırmalara katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

The Effect of Environmental Passion, Green Transformational Leadership, Green Organizational Climate on Employee Green Behaviors

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of environmental passion, green organizational climate and green transformational leadership on employee green behaviors and to establish whether the green organizational climate has a mediating role in the relationship between employee green behaviors and green transformational leadership. Environmental passion as an individual factor, green transformational leadership as a managerial factor and green organizational climate as an organizational factor are considered as variables that affect the employee green behaviors and research model and hypotheses have been developed. Research data were collected from 244 individuals selected by simple random sampling method using online questionnaire technique. Research hypotheses were tested with Pearson correlation analysis, regression analysis and Sobel Test. The results of the research show that environmental passion, green transformational leadership and green organizational climate positively affect employee green behaviors. In addition, the results of the research present that the green organizational climate has a full mediating role in the relationship between green transformational leadership and employee green behaviors. This research provides important clues to managers to improve the sustainable environmental performance of organizations and guides them on what needs to be done to increase employee green behaviors in the organization. It is thought that this study will contribute to future research on green organizations.
