Türkiye’de Eğitim Yönetimi Alanında Yapılan Doktora Tezlerinin Ön Sözlerinde Yer Alan Minnettarlık İfadelerinin Analizi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Türkiye’deki üniversitelerde eğitim yönetimi alanında yapılan doktora tezi ön sözlerinde yer alan minnettarlık ifadelerinin yapısını belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda “doktora öğrencilerinin minnettarlıklarını nasıl yapılandırdıkları, nasıl ilettikleri; minnettarlık mesajlarını yapılandırma ve iletme sürecinde ne tür stratejileri temel aldıkları; minnettarlıklarını kimlere, hangi sırayla, hangi nedenlerle, nasıl yönelttikleri” sorularına yanıt aranmıştır. Araştırma Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde erişime açık olan eğitim yönetimi alanında yapılan doktora tezlerini kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada tez ön sözlerinde yer alan minnettarlık ifadeleri incelenmiştir. Tarama modeline dayalı olarak yürütülen araştırmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin toplam 14 kategoride (muhataba), 22 farklı temada (içerikte), 2444 minnettarlık yöneliminde bulundukları belirlenmiştir. Doktora öğrencileri tez ön sözlerinde “danışmanlarına, eş ve çocuklarına, anne ve babalarına” minnettarlık beyanlarında bulunurken daha uzun ve içten cümleler kurdukları; doktora dönemi ders hocalarına, tez izleme kurulu üyelerine, arkadaş ve meslektaşlarına, kurum ve kuruluş temsilcilerine, minnettarlıklarını sunarken daha kısa ve resmi cümleler kurdukları tespit edilmiştir

Analysis of the Expressions of Gratitude in the Preface of Doctoral Theses in the Department of Educational Administration

Abstract

This research, conducted her doctoral thesis in the field of educational administration at universities in Turkey is aimed at determining the structure of pre words express gratitude located. In line with this purpose, the gratitude of doctoral students; how they structure, how they convey, what kind of strategies are they based on in the process of structuring and conveying the messages of gratitude, to whom, in what order, for what reasons, and how? Answers to their questions were sought. The research includes 222 doctoral theses made in the field of education management, which is open to access in the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education. The expressions of gratitude in the forewords of the doctoral dissertation were examined. The data obtained in the research based on the scanning model were analyzed by the content analysis method. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that the students showed 2444 gratitude orientations in 14 categories (to the interlocutor) in 23 different themes. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the students had 2444 gratitude orientations in 14 categories (to the interlocutor), in 22 different themes (contents).Keywords: Gratitude, Foreword, Doctoral Theses, Educational Administration Doctoral students in their thesis forewords; It was determined that they made longer and more sincere sentences while making expressions of gratitude to their advisors, their spouses and children, their parents, and they made shorter and more formal sentences while presenting their gratitude to their doctoral instructors, members of the thesis monitoring board, friends and colleagues, representatives of institutions and organizations
