The aim of the study is to examine the levels of organizational cynicism and organizational commitment of the staff working in private sports businesses. In order to examine the organizational cynicism and organizational commitment levels of the staff, the questionnaire form consisting of three sections, consisting of 3 sub-dimensions, organizational cynicism scale and 3 sub-dimensions, was applied to 400 people working in private sports centers operating in the Marmara region. The reliability of the data was found to be α = 0,802 for the organizational cynicism scale and α = 0,851 for the organizational commitment scale. Mann-Whitney U test was used in demographic variables containing two categories, and Kruskal-Wallis H test was used in demographic variables containing more than two categories. Spearman correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship between organizational cynicism and its sub-dimensions and organizational commitment and its sub-dimensions. In the study, it was observed that gender, age, education level, duration of service and title status were effective on the factors included in organizational commitment, organizational cynicism or its sub-dimensions. An inverse correlation was found between organizational cynicism and organizational commitment. The relationship between organizational cynicism sub-dimensions and organizational commitment sub-dimensions is also similar. As a result of the research, it has been determined that there is a negative relationship between organizational cynicism and organizational commitment levels of staff working in private enterprises.
