In recent years, modern researchers, both in the West and the East, have been paying a great deal of attention to Farabi?s philosophy and philosophical wievs. However, they have more interested in the logical, political and metaphysical views and neglected his educational concepts, aims and his educational utopia. Nonetheless, education is one of the most important individual and social phenomena in al-Farabi?s philosophical system, especially in political views. The aim of this article is to analyze the education, educational concepts, methods, aims and educational utopia of Turkish-Muslim philosopher Abu Nasr al-Farabi, known as Alfarabius or Avennasar in medieval Europe.
