Ezoterik Grupların Epistemolojisi

Year 2016, Issue: 83, 75 - 90, 01.09.2016

Abstract

Epistemology of Esoteric Groups

Year 2016, Issue: 83, 75 - 90, 01.09.2016

Abstract

In knowledge acquisition, people possess various kinds of rational and open processes which have limitations. Epistemological approaches accept all of these processes. However, esoteric groups put off abnormal and strange processes of knowledge acquisition. This article relates to the epistemic value of these processes. Esoteric epistemology has no rational basis. It is based on dreams and unreliable testimonies instead of the normal resources such as perception, memory, reasoning, introspection
