Existence of the “diaspora” concept in today's sense depends on the existence of the concept of “migration” which is as old as human history. The developments and changes that have taken place in the historical process, have allowed the diaspora concept to have a more comprehensive meaning by getting out of the classical narrow meaning of the past. Today, it is possible to find examples that fit both the classical diaspora approach and the modern diaspora approach. The Arab Spring, which started in Tunisia in 2010, caused one of the most important migration events of the century. Millions of Syrians have been forced to migrate particularly to Turkey and other countries by the affects of Arab Spring. According to official sources today there are about 3.5 million Syrian refugees in Turkey. In this study -utilized from the doctoral dissertation "Diaspora Entrepreneurship: Entrepreneurs Profile of Syrians in Turkey" - Syrians and Syrian entrepreneurs in Turkey are evaluated on basis of diaspora approaches. According to the existing information and findings, it is reached that the Syrians and Syrian entrepreneurs in Turkey set and example for Classical Diaspora Approach.
