Kitap İncelemesi "Repositioning Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Teachers’ Knowledge for Teaching Science"
Abstract
İçinde yaşadığımız yüzyıl itibariyle toplumun ihtiyaçları ve teknolojideki gelişmeler eğitime de yansımış ve eğitimin uygulayıcısı olan öğretmenlerin sorumlulukları bir kat daha artmıştır. Öğretmenlerin edinmesi gereken bilgi ve beceriler değiştikçe, bu bilgi ve becerilerin incelenmesi ve tartışılması önem kazanmaktadır. 2012 yılında gerçekleştirilen 1. Pedagojik Alan Bilgisi Zirvesi'nden dört yıl sonra düzenlenen 2. Pedagojik Alan Bilgisi Zirvesi'nde de bu inceleme ve tartışmalarla öğretmen eğitimine katkı sağlanmaya çalışıldı. 2. Pedagojik Alan Bilgisi Zirvesi'nin odağında daha çok veri ve analiz vardı. Ancak Consensus Modeli (CM) tekrar tartışıldı ve Rafine Consensus Modeli (RCM) ortaya çıktı. "Repositioning Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Teachers' Knowledge for Teaching Science" başlıklı kitap, 2. Zirve sırasında kaydedilen ilerlemeyi ortaya koymayı, Rafine Consensus Modeli (RCM) modelini tüm PAB araştırmacılarına tanıtmayı ve uygulamalara açıklık getirmeyi amaçlıyor. Öğretmen eğitimi ile ilgilenen araştırmacı ve öğretmenlere katkı sağlamak amacıyla incelenen bu kitabın, ilgili literatürü yansıtarak okuyucularda son gelişmeler hakkında bir kanaat oluşturacağı düşünülmektedir.

Book Review "Repositioning Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Teachers’ Knowledge for Teaching Science"
Abstract
As of the century we live in, the needs of the society and the developments in technology have been reflected in education and the responsibilities of the teachers who are the practitioners of education have increased one more time. It is important to examine and discuss these knowledge and skills as the knowledge and skills teachers need to acquire change. At the 2nd Pedagogical Content Knowledge Summit held four years after the 1st Pedagogical Content Knowledge Summit held in 2012, it was tried to contribute to teacher education with these examinations and discussions. The focus of the 2nd Pedagogical Content Knowledge Summit was mostly data and analysis. However, the Consensus Model (CM) was discussed again and the Refined Consensus Model (RCM) emerged. The book titled "Repositioning Pedagogical Content Knowledge in Teachers' Knowledge for Teaching Science" aims to reveal the progress made during the 2nd Summit, to introduce the Refined Consensus Model (RCM) model to all PCK researchers and to clarify the applications. It is thought that this book, which was examined in order to contribute to researchers and teachers interested in teacher education, will create an opinion on the latest developments in the readers by reflecting the related literature.
