Abstract

In recent years, manufacturing technology and processes have been changed. These changes have brought some problems related with standard casting systems. In todays manufacturing environment, standard casting system have been criticized for not providing needed information that required from this system. In spite of this, standard casting system has already been widely used. For this reason while some theorists claim updating this system instead of give up, some theorists who care of the problems related with standard casting system claim giving up the system. In this study, the problems related with system have been examined. In additions of this, updating of standard casting system according to the new manufacturing environment has been examined in a detailed way.
