Abstract
Firms should take human factor into consideration in their philosophy and make investment in it for attaining TQM goals. An important part of this investment involves continuous education and training needed by employees. Each of the elements which are Knowledge, Ability, Experience and Willingness needed to be able to get quality work is achieved by education. When one looks at the firms which have attained great success by applying TQM in their organizations,it is appearent that they have made significant amount of investment in employees and their training to improve human potential. In this study, human factor and training in TQM is analyzed. A systematic approach is held and some cases from the industry are given.
