Abstract

Değişen
rekabet koşulları nedeniyle yöneticilerin, müşterilerin, kamu kurumlarının,
kısacası işletmenin iç ve dış bilgi kullanıcılarının beklentileri de değişmektedir.
Buna bağlı olarak yönetimde yeni yaklaşımlar ortaya çıkmaktadır. Kısıtlar
teorisi kavramı da günümüz koşullarında işletme yönetimine farklı bir bakış
açısı getirmektedir. Kısıtlar teorisi, sistemdeki kısıtların tespit edilip
ortadan kaldırılması ve bunun sürekli olarak tekrarlanması gerektiği görüşüne
dayanan sürekli gelişimi hedefleyen bir yönetim felsefesidir.



Kısıtlar teorisi, süreçler üzerine odaklanarak sistem
geliştirmeye yönelik bir yönetim yaklaşımıdır. Her sistemin en az bir kısıtı vardır
ve işletmeler karlılıklarını arttırmak için bu kısıtların yönetimine odaklanmak
durumundadırlar. Bu makalenin amacı işletmelerde kısıttan çıkışa ilişkin
önerilerde bulunmaktır.
