DEĞİŞİME DİRENÇ, ÖRGÜTSEL HAFIZA VE VAZGEÇME ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİLER

Abstract

Bu
araştırmada, işletmelerin değişim çabası içerisinde karşılaştıkları dirence,
örgütsel hafızanın etkileri ele alınmış, örgütsel hafızaya körü körüne
bağlanmayan yani vazgeçme yeteneği gelişmiş olan işletmelerde değişime direncin
diğerleri kadar kuvvetli olup olmadığı değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmanın temel
amacı, örgütsel hafızanın, değişime olan dirence etkilerinin yanı sıra,
değişime direncin ele alınması noktasında önemli bir faktörün varlığının ön
plana çıkartılması ve bu sayede değişim yönetimi çabası içerisine girecek olan
yöneticilere değişime olan direnci azaltmada önemli bir anahtar gösterme
düşüncesidir. Araştırma İstanbul Ticaret Odasına kayıtlı, inşaat sektöründe
faaliyet gösteren, işletmeler üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma modeline
temel teşkil eden örgütsel hafızayla değişime direnç arasında pozitif yönlü
ilişkiler olduğu düşüncesi, analiz sonuçlarıyla belirli düzeyde kendini
göstermiştir. Benzer şekilde vazgeçmenin, değişime direnç ve örgütsel hafıza
ile negatif yönlü ilişkileri de ortaya koyulmuştur. Kurumların sahip oldukları
bilginin, değişim durumunda olumsuz etkilerde bulunabileceği ve bu olumsuzluğun
zayıflatılması için de vazgeçme yeteneğiyle hareket edilmesi gerekliliği açığa
çıkmaktadır.
