This study investigates the human resources practices of publicly traded manufacturing companies during the Covid-19 period. In this context, the explanations disclosed in the 2020 annual reports of 30 companies in Borsa Istanbul Metal Goods and Machinery Index were examined by content analysis method. Employee applications are classified by developing a conceptual framework within the framework of human resource principles and functions; development and career, financial rights, non-financial rights, workplace safety, rule compliance, and equality. The concepts under these categories are determined within the framework of the Capital Market Board (CMB) corporate governance principles and sustainability reporting standards (GRI). According to the results of the analysis, the most frequently mentioned issues related to employees in the annual reports of companies are education, wages, Covid-19 and ethical rules. The annual reports make no mention of overtime work, employee benefits, or unpaid leave.
