In this research, Education Faculty last year students’ awareness and using levels of teaching methods were tried to be determined. For this purpose, in the second term of the academic year 2008-2009 the research was carried out with a total of 381 final year students studying in Faculties of Education in Mustafa Kemal University, Firat University and Cumhuriyet University. To gather data a questionnaire was developed by the researcher that applied on students in the sample and the obtained data was analyzed. In the questionnaire 35 triple Likert- type questions are set which are widely used and often asked on sources about the teaching methods and techniques. In the study it is emerged that education faculty last year students know most of teaching methods and techniques asked in the questionnaire which are particularly very important for the implementation of active training and constructivist approaches, but rather they prefer the use of methods such as lecture and question and answer.
Bu araştırmada Eğitim Fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin öğretim yöntemlerinin farkında olma ve kullanma düzeyleri belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla çalışma 2008–2009 eğitim-öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Mustafa Kemal Üniversitesi, Fırat Üniversitesi ve Cumhuriyet Üniversitelerinin Eğitim Fakültelerinde okumakta olan toplam 381 son sınıf öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Verileri toplamak için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen anket örneklemde bulunan öğrencilere uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Ankette 35 tane sıkça kullanılan ve kaynaklarda yaygın olarak geçen öğretim yöntem ve tekniğinin sorulduğu üçlü likert türünde soru bulunmaktadır.
Çalışmada eğitim fakültesi son sınıf öğrencilerinin özellikle aktif eğitim ve yapılandırmacı öğrenme yaklaşımlarının uygulanması için oldukça önemli olan ve ankette sorulan öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin büyük çoğunluğunu bildikleri ancak daha çok anlatım ve soru cevap gibi yöntemlerin kullanımını tercih ettikleri ortaya çıkmıştır.
