Bu çalışmada Diyarbakır çevresinde hem psikiyatrik hastalara iyi geldiğine inanılan hem de en çok ziyaret edilen yerlere, (türbe, ziyaret, makam) en çok ziyaret edilen gün olan Perşembe günleri gidilerek gözlemde bulunulmuş ve orada çare arayanlarla odak grup görüşmeleri yapılmıştır.Bu çalışmamızda psikiyatrik hastalıkları olan hasta ve yakınları ile yapılan görüşmeler tartışılmıştır
Visiting shrines by psychiatric patients and their families for therapeutic purposes is one of the oldest faith and attitude which is still present in a considerable proportion. On Thursdays (the most crowded day of the week) focus group interviews were conducted on people seeking cure in the most visited holy places (shrine, tomb) of Diyarbakır that are believed to be curative for psychiatric patients.
