Abstract
Yer altı hastaneleri uzun yıllar boyunca, savaşlar gibi
hastanelerin güvenliğini tehdit etmesine rağmen sağlık hizmeti sunumunun devam
etmesi gerektiği durumlarda, korunaklı olmaları ve ihtiyaçları
karşılayabilmeleri nedeniyle kullanılmışlardır. Yirminci yüzyılda birçok klasik
örneğine rastlanılan yer altı hastanelerinin günümüzde klasik ve modern
teknoloji sentezi ile oluşturulmuş bazı örnekleri hizmet
vermeye devam etmektedir. Ülkemizin içinde bulunduğu stratejik konum ele alındığında
toplumumuzun güvenli hastanelere sahip olmasının önemi artmaktadır. Bu makale
ülkemizde aktif örneği bulunmayan yer altı hastanelerinin önemi ve örneklerini
açıklamak üzere planlanmıştır.
