In this study, the relationship between carbon dioxide emissions, renewable and non-renewable energy consumption, economic growth, real agricultural value added, foreign direct investment and financial development in Turkey was tested using annual data for the 1974-2019 period. Traditional ADF (Augmented Dickey Fuller) and PP (Phillips Peron) unit root test were preferred for the test of stationarity, and ARDL bounds test was preferred for the cointegration relationship. According to the ADF and PP unit root test results, all variables are stationary at the 1% significance level, except for foreign direct investment. According to ARDL findings, it has been determined that real GDP and non-renewable energy consumption increase carbon dioxide emissions in both the short and long-term, while the square of real GDP and renewable energy consumption decrease carbon dioxide emissions. Therefore, the Environmental Kuznets Curve Hypothesis is valid in the examined period.
