Abstract

The migration, has become an integral part of life in many parts of the World throughout history. Migration is mainly studied in two ways namely external migration and internal migration. In the vast majority of the literatüre, the topic of external migration has been studied. In this study, the literature on internal migration in the world from 1950 to the present has been reviewed and evaluated. In the study, studies on internal migration in South East and East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Europe; it has been evaluated by examining “migration laws” and “internal migration types”.
