Prematüre Retinopatisi ile Serum İnsülin Benzeri Büyüme Faktörü-1 Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişki

Abstract
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı serum insülin benzeri büyüme faktörü-I IGF-I ileprematüre retinopatisi ROP arasında ilişki olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu prospektif çalışmaya Kasım 2006 ile Mayıs 2007 arasında 34gestasyonel haftadan küçük olarak doğan toplam 33 bebek dahil edildi. Prematüre retinopatisi ROP , uluslararası ROP sınıflandırmasına göre sınıflandırıldı. SerumIGF-I düzeyleri doğumdan hemen sonra çalışılmaya başlandı ve olgular taburcuedilene kadar haftalık olarak çalışılmaya devam edildi. Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan 33 bebekten %36’sında ROP saptandı. Düşük doğumağırlığı ve daha küçük gestasyonel yaş daha yüksek ROP gelişimi oranı ile ilişkiliidi. ROP grubundaki ortalama serum IGF-1 düzeylerinin ROP olmayan gruba göreistatistiksel olarak anlamlı düşük olduğu bulundu p=0,03 . Haftalık ölçülen serumIGF-1 düzeyleri ile ROP gelişimi arasında ise istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ilişki saptanmadı p>0,05 . Tartışma: Sonuç olarak, preterm bebeklerdeki düşük ortalama IGF-1 düzeyleriROP gelişimi oranı ile ilişkili bulunmuştur
