Organizational support has
been an important research topic both individually and organizationally. Today
organizational support is an important issue for organizations. If the person
does not think that he is supported by his organization in terms of personnel,
he is likely to experience demoralization and an inefficient business process
by reflecting this situation on working conditions. It is clear that staff who
are working in a demoralized manner cannot adequately perform the expected
performance. The aim of this study is to determine the perceived organizational
support levels of the administrative staff working at Pamukkale University. The
sample of the study consists of administrative staff in the faculties working
at Kınıklı Campus of Pamukkale University in Denizli. Some of the findings of
the study are as follows: No significant difference was found between the
perception of organizational support and gender. In addition, it was found that
male administrative staff perceived higher level of organizational support. Besides,
significant differences were found in terms of organizational support
perception, age variable and salary thinking. In addition, there were no
differences between groups in terms of marital status, education, title and
working time.
