Abstract
Modern dizel motorlar, günümüzde pek çok alanda kullanılmaktadır. Performans, güvenlik ve sürüş konforu en çok istenen özelliklerin başında gelmesine karşın, titreşim ise ciddi bir sorun olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu titreşimlerin oluşmasına neden olan en önemli etkenlerden birisi kuşkusuz motorlardır. Özellikle krank mekanizması ciddi titreşimler yaratır. Motor balanceri ise tam bu noktada, krank mili harmoniklerini ortadan kaldırmak, aşırı atalet ve titreşim gibi dinamik kuvvetleri emmek için devreye girer. Bu çalışmada motor yapısının titreşimlerinin azaltılmasına yönelik ideal balancer tasarımına yönelik çalışmalar yapılmıştır.

Abstract
Modern diesel engines are used in many fields today. While performance, safety and driving comfort are among the most requested features, vibration is a serious problem. One of the most important factors that cause these vibrations to occur is undoubtedly the engines. Especially the crank mechanism creates serious vibrations. At this point, the engine balancer comes into play to eliminate crankshaft harmonics and absorb dynamic forces such as excessive inertia and vibration. In this study, studies were carried out for the design of ideal balancer to reduce vibrations of the engine structure.
