This paper attempts to reveal the essence and content of halal tourism. It analyzes the international experience of halal tourism development; it considers the specific features of infrastructure in halal tourism; also the work consider the basics of planning of a halal tourism with respect to sociocultural aspects of a destination. Regarding Kyrgyzstan, the historical premises of modern halal tourism development and sociocultural and business potential are analyzed. The primary method of data collection was review of existing literature, and some interviews were conducted too. According to preliminary data it is possible to conclude that halal tourism in Kyrgyzstan is an infant industry. With appropriate planning this market niche may become a pattern of sustainable tourism, especially with regard to positive influence on local social and cultural traditions and peculiarities
В статье сделана попытка раскрыть сущность и содержание халяль-туризма. Анализируется международный опыт развития, особенности создания инфраструктуры, а также рассматриваются основы планирования халяль-туризма с учетом социокультурных аспектов дестинации. Проанализированы исторические предпосылки развития халяль-туризма в Кыргызстане, социокультурный и бизнес-потенциал.
Основным методом сбора данных является литературный обзор и интервью.
По предварительным данным сегмент халяль-туризма в Кыргызстане находится в стадии
зарождения, и при соответствующем планировании данная ниша может стать образцом
устойчивого туризма, особенно в отношении положительного влияния на местные социокультурные традиции и особенности.
