Introduction: Pandemic is the general name of epidemics that spread and spread over a wide area in more than one country or continent around the world. Material and Method: This research is a qualitative study conducted in order to measure the problems experienced by the call center employees about their working from home during the pandemic process and their solution suggestions. The research universe consists of 8 employees in the call center of a private chain hospital in Istanbul. Finding: According to the findings of the research, when the effects of the pandemic process on the participants were examined, it was found that they were negatively affected psychologically and psychologically. According to the findings, it was determined that working from home caused a decrease in productivity and performance. Conclusion: The most striking aspect in the study was found that employees were adversely affected by the pandemic process and did not want to work from home in the continuation of their working life.
Giriş: Pandemi, dünyada birden fazla ülkede veya kıtada, çok geniş bir alanda yayılan ve etkisini gösteren salgın hastalıkların genel adıdır.
Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu araştırma, çağrı merkezinde çalışanların pandemi süreci içerisinde evden çalışmalarına ilişkin çektiği sıkıntılar ve çözüm önerilerini ölçmek amacıyla yapılmış nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma evrenini İstanbul’da özel bir zincir hastanenin çağrı merkezinde 8 çalışandan oluşmaktadır.
Bulgu: Araştırma bulgularına göre pandemi sürecinin katılımcılar üzerinde etkileri incelendiğinde psikolojik ve ruhsal yönde olumsuz etkilendiği saptanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre evden çalışmanın verimlilik ve performans düşüşüne neden olduğu saptanmıştır.
Sonuç: Araştırmada en dikkat çeken yön, çalışanların pandemi sürecinden olumsuz etkilendikleri ve çalışma hayatının devamında evden çalışmak istemedikleri saptanmıştır.
