Art, which is one of the ways of self-expression, is a tool in which we convey our emotions through aesthetic methods with its richness and diversity. Many artists, who expertly apply aesthetic methods in their works, can be counted in the history of Turkish painting. It is possible to observe the richness and diversity of Anatolian culture in the works of Yalçın Gökçebağ, one of these artists. The Anatolian geography, which Gökçebağ says 'I paint the Anatolia I live in my childhood' and inspired him, has taken a peaceful life in his paintings.
In this article, the works of Yalçın Gökçebağ dealing with Anatolian nature, folklore and Anatolian people are examined. The methods of dealing with Anatolian life, nature, culture and traditions in their works are emphasized.
