This paper investigates the relationship between the learning styles and perspectivedrawing performance of the students enrolled in the Architectural Perspective course inthe Department of Architecture of Istanbul Kultur University. For this purpose, Kolb’sLearning Style Inventory was used to identify the learning styles of 11 students takingthe course. It was found that 3 of the students were accomodators, 3 of the studentswere divergers, 2 of the students were convergers and 3 of the students wereassimilators. Drawings obtained from a workshop conducted afterwards were analyzedand compared with the perspective drawing performance of students. Results of thisstudy indicate that there is a significant relationship between the perspective drawingperformance and learning styles of students
Bu aratırmada, stanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, Mimarlık Bölümü, Mimari Perspektif dersinialan örencilerin perspektif çizme baarısı ile örenme stilleri arasındaki ilikinin tespitedilmesi amaçlanmıtır. Bu amaçla, dersi alan 11 örenciye Kolb’un Örenme StiliEnvanteri uygulanmıtır. Elde edilen verilere göre 3 örencinin yerletiren, 3 örencinindeitiren, 2 örencinin ayrıtıran ve 3 örencinin özümseyen örenme stiline sahipolduu tespit edilmitir. Daha sonra yapılan atölye çalıması sonucunda elde edilençizimler analiz edilmi ve örencilerin örenme stilleri ile karılatırılmıtır. Çalımasonunda örencilerin perspektif çizme baarısı ve örenme stilleri arasında anlamlısonuçlar elde edilmitir
