In this study, it was aimed to make the economic analysis of organic cattle breeding enterprises in Ayvacık district of Çanakkale province and determine the factors affecting the cattle breeding income. The survey studies applied to total of 31 producers affiliated to Ayvacık Organic Red Meat Producers Union composed the material of the study. Cobb-Douglas production function was used in order to determine the factors affecting the cattle breeding income. Total of 56.21 native breeds and 42.86 cross breeds were present in the enterprises. Carcass profits were found as 51.08% and 53.43% in native and cross breed animals, respectively. Feed conversion ratios were calculated as 355.60% and 604.07% in native and cross breed animals, respectively. It was observed that stock animal material was on the first rank in the production costs in either race. Net profits were found as 53.995,07 TL and 89.773,21 TL in native and cross breed animals, respectively. It was concluded that stock end live weight and livestock number affected the income positively. It was determined that the livestock number was the most optimum used input. It was concluded that organic cattle breeding production with cross breed animals was more profitable than the production with native breed animals.
