Bu çalışmada organizma stres durumlarıyla karşılaştığında farklı hücrelerde seviyeleri artan, stres proteinleri ya da Isı Şok Proteinleri (Heat Shock Protein=HSP) olarak adlandırılan protein ailesinden HSP70’in keçi (Capra hircus) testisinde immunohistokimyasal olarak lokalizasyonunun belirlenmesi amaçlandı. Çalışmada materyal olarak 10 adet keçiden alınan testisler materyal olarak kullanıldı. Materyaller Bouin solüsyonunda 16 saat süreyle tespit edildi. Tespit işleminden sonra rutin histolojik doku takibinden geçirilen örnekler parafinde bloklandı. Parafin bloklarlardan 5-6µm kalınlığındaki kesitlere HSP70 varlığının belirlenmesi için Avidin Biotin Peroxidase (ABC) yöntemi uygulandı. Uygulama sonucunda spermatogonyumlarda güçlü reaksiyon gözlendi. Spermatositlerde ise spermatogonyumlara göre daha zayıf bir reaksiyon tespit edildi. Aynı zamanda Leydig hücreleri ve Sertoli hücrelerinde güçlü reaksiyon görüldü. Spermatozoonlarda ise reaksiyona rastlamadı.
