Skolyoz Odaklı Egzersizler-Yedi Büyük Okulun Kapsamlı İncelemesi

Abstract

Skolyoz, frontal düzlemde omurganın konveks tarafa lateral deviasyon, transverse düzlemde rotasyon (lateral deviasyonla aynı yönlü), sagital düzlemde kifoz, lordoz, hiperlordozun eşlik ettiği gövdenin 3 boyutlu deformitesidir. Bu deformite, büyüme sırasında sırt ağrısı, esneklik problemleri, yanlış duruş ve estetik problemlerin yanı sıra yaşam kalitesini de etkileyen, ilerleyen postürel deformitelere yol açabilir. Konservatif olmayan tedavi de genellikle omurga deformitelerini düzeltmek için ameliyat gerekir, ancak bu yöntemler risksiz değildir. Fizyoterapi gibi konservatif tedaviler, skolyoza özgü egzersizler, eşzamanlı korse ile veya korse olmaksızın, 50 dereceden az eğrisi olan hastalar için alternatif olarak kullanılır. Büyüme sırasında görülen idiyopatik skolyoz için gözlem, Skolyoza özgü fizyoterapi egzersizleri ve korse kullanımı, 2011'de Uluslararası Skolyoz Ortopedik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon Derneği (Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment-SOSORT) tarafından kabul edilen tedavi yaklaşımlarıdır. Skolyoza özel egzersizleri içeren yedi ana skolyoz okulu bulunmaktadır. Çalışmanın amacı, skolyoza özgü egzersizler içeren bu yedi ana skolyoz okulunu ,geliştirildikleri kronolojik sıraya göre sırasıyla; Fransa'dan Lyon, Almanya 'dan Schroth, İtalya'dan Skolyoz için Bilimsel Egzersiz Yaklaşımı (SEAS- Scientific Exercise Approach to Scoliosis), İspanya 'dan Barselona Skolyoz Fizik Tedavi Okulu (BSPTS-Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School), Polonya'dan Dobomed, Birleşik Krallıktan Yana Kaydırma (Side Shift) ve Polonya'dan Skolyozun fonksiyonel bireysel tedavisi (FITS- Functional Individual Therapy of Scoliosis) incelemek ve bunların korse teknikleri hakkında bilgi vermektir. Herhangi bir okulun ve tedavi yaklaşımının üstün olduğu ya da diğer okullardan daha iyi olduğu karşılaştırılmamaktadır.
