Use Of Artıfıcıal Intellıgence In Enterprıse Resource Plannıng (Erp) Systems

Abstract

Nowadays, where digitalization has become mandatory with the industrial revolution, the impact of the concept of artificial intelligence on human life has reached a level that cannot be ignored and is making progress every day. With this concept, a transition is made to a new industry. This growth of artificial intelligence is revolutionary. Therefore, the use of artificial intelligence in ERP systems, as in many areas, is inevitable. Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems have recently become an important part of the information technology system. With the age of big data, ERP systems have been exposed to increasing amounts of data in a short time. Processing and controlling this data without error has now become easier with artificial intelligence. In this study, prepared by taking into consideration the concepts of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and artificial intelligence, it is aimed to systematically examine the use of artificial intelligence techniques in ERP systems and to contribute to the literature by revealing the studies carried out in this direction. Within the scope of the study, various articles and books on the use of artificial intelligence in ERP systems were examined based on the existing literature. As a result of the investigations, it has been concluded that businesses have achieved efficiency in areas such as error-free data entry, customer support, sales forecasting and predictive analysis by using artificial intelligence in their ERP systems.

Abstract

Sanayi devrimi ile birlikte dijitalleşmenin zorunlu bir hâl aldığı günümüzde yapay zeka kavramının insan hayatına etkisi görmezden gelinmeyecek bir boyuta ulaşmış olup her geçen gün ilerleme kaydetmektedir. Bu kavram ile yeni bir endüstriye geçiş yapılmaktadır. Yapay zekanın bu denli büyümesi devrim niteliğindedir. Bu yüzden pek çok alanda olduğu gibi ERP sistemlerinde de yapay zekanın kullanılması kaçınılmaz bir durumdur. Kurumsal kaynak planlama (ERP) sistemleri, son zamanlarda bilgi teknolojileri sisteminin önemli bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Büyük veri çağı ile birlikte ERP sistemleri de kısa bir zamanda artan miktarda veriye maruz kalmıştır. Bu verilerin hatasız işlenebilmesi ve kontrol edilmesi artık yapay zeka ile daha kolay bir hâl almıştır. Kurumsal kaynak planlama (ERP) ve yapay zeka kavramları dikkate alınarak hazırlanan bu çalışmada, yapay zeka tekniklerinin ERP sistemlerinde kullanımını sistematik bir şekilde incelemek ve bu doğrultuda yapılan çalışmaları ortaya koyarak literatüre katkı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında ERP sistemlerinde yapay zeka kullanımı ile ilgili çeşitli makale ve kitaplar mevcut literatüre dayandırılarak incelenmiştir. Yapılan incelemeler sonucu, işletmelerin ERP sistemlerinde yapay zeka kullanımıyla, hatasız veri girişi, müşteri desteği, satış tahmini ve tahmine dayalı analiz gibi alanlarda verimliliğe ulaştığı bilgilerine ulaşılmıştır.
