Abstract
Worships are sine qua non pillars of religions. It is not possible to think of a
religion without worship. Worships have a very important place and role in
the religion of Islam. Allah, who mandates the worship, is the first degree
absolute ruler. The Prophet (pbuh) showed the practices of worship to his
ummah in the most detailed way. This authority has been granted to him
by Allah. All the details of worship are discussed in the most detailed hadith
sources, so 80% of the rules and methods of worships are based on tradition. Worships are static and fixed. They have come to this day by means
of tradition. Nobody can attempt to change them. Otherwise, it will distort
the religion. There are many issues to be considered in the Prophet’s (pbuh)
worship. In the context of this study, it is essential we know the issues
that need to be observed in order to perform the prayers more consciously
and duly. We tried to cover the subject under the following headings: The
Necessity of Worships, Their Function/Purpose, Performing Worships with
Love and Consciousness, Sincerity and hypocrisy in Worships, Maturation
through Worships, Moderation and Ease of Worships, The Prophet’s Attitude
towards Voluntary Worships, Most of the Rules of Worships Based on Events.
We tried to explain these issues by showing verses and hadiths as evidence.
