In terms of analysis integrity, the economy was divided into 10 sectors in all input-output tables and evaluation was made on these sectors. As a result, the sector with the highest forward and backward linkage effects has been identified as intermediate goods producing industries. The analysis shows that Turkey’s economy has transform to industrial-based economy from agriculture-based economy. However, it is clear that economic transformation should continue for a more developed economy. In particular, products with high added value need to be focused.
