THE VALIDITY AND RELIABILITY STUDY OF PROFESSIONAL SELF EFFICACY SCALE FOR VOLLEYBALL COACH

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a measurement tool with psychometric properties that will measure the professional self-efficacy of the volleyball coaches. There were 174 men (78,7%) and 47 women (21,3%) who were active coaches in different stages of the research (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 levels) 221 volleyball coaches participated voluntarily. In the analysis of the data, item total test correlation, KMO and Barlett Sphericity test, confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis were used. After the analyzes made, it was determined that the scale had a structure of 29 items and 5 sub-dimensions (Motivation Efficacy, Technical Teaching Efficacy, Personality Building Efficacy, Leadership and Team Management Efficacy, Condition and Tactic Efficacy). The load values of the items range from .452 to .850. Confirmatory factor analysis (DFA) results were χ2 / sd = 1.88, RMSEA = 0.064, RMR = 0.037, NFI = 0.96, NNFI = 0.98, CFI = 0.98, GFI = 0.91 and AGFI = 0.88. In order to test the reliability level of the scale, Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient were calculated .891. As a result; It is determined that the scale that develops to measure the professional self-efficacy of the volleyball coaches as a result of the validity and reliability study is a usable measurement tool

VOLEYBOL ANTRENÖRÜ MESLEKİ ÖZ YETERLİK ÖLÇEĞİ GEÇERLİK VE GÜVENİRLİK ÇALIŞMASI

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı voleybol antrenörlerinin mesleki öz yeterliklerini ölçebilecek psikometrik özelliklere sahip bir ölçme aracı geliştirmektir. Araştırmaya Türkiye’de farklı kademelerde (1. 2. 3. 4. ve 5. kademe) faal olarak antrenörlük yapan 174’ü erkek (% 78,7), 47’si kadın (% 21,3) olmak üzere 221 voleybol antrenörü gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde madde toplam test korelasyonu, KMO ve Barlett Sphericity testi, açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi kullanılmıştır. Yapılan analizler sonrasında ölçeğin 29 madde ve 5 alt boyutlu (Motivasyon Yeterliği, Teknik Öğretim Yeterliği, Kişilik Kazandırma Yeterliği, Liderlik-Takım Yönetimi Yeterliği, Kondisyon-Taktik Yeterliği) bir yapıya sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Maddelerin yük değerleri .452 ile .850 arasında değişmektedir. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi (DFA) sonuçları χ2/ sd=1.88, RMSEA=0.064, RMR=0.037, NFI=0.96, NNFI=0.98, CFI=0.98, GFI=0.91 ve AGFI=0.88 olarak bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin güvenirlik seviyesini test etmek için ise Cronbach’s Alpha güvenirlik katsayısı .891 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Sonuç olarak; yapılan geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması sonucunda voleybol antrenörlerinin mesleki öz yeterliklerini ölçmek amacıyla geliştiren Voleybol Antrenörü Mesleki Öz Yeterlik Ölçeğinin (VAMYÖ) kullanılabilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir
