Gebelerin Sürekli Ebe Liderliğinde Evde Doğum Hakkında Bilgi ve Görüşleri

Abstract

Öz
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın evde vajinal doğum oranlarını arttırdığı çalışmalarla kanıtlanan ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü (DSÖ)'nün önerdiği ELSBM ile gebelerin Ebe Liderliğinde Evde Doğum (ELED) hakkında bilgi ve görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Çalışma kesitsel tanımlayıcı tipte olup bir üniversite hastanesinin kadın doğum polikliniklerine 23 Mart- 20 Temmuz 2019 tarihleri arasında gebelik kontrolü için başvuran ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 260 gebe ile tamamlanmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel değerlendirmesi bilgisayar ortamında SPSS 22.0 paket programı ile yapılmıştır.
Bulgular: Gebelerin eğitim durumları ile, ELSBM ile vajinal doğum (p=0,000), epizyotomisiz doğum (p=0,000) ve evde doğum (p=0,000) yapabileceğini düşünmeleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark bulunmaktadır. Eğitim seviyesi arttıkça vajinal, epizyotomisiz ve evde doğum yapabileceğini düşünme oranı da artmaktadır.
Sonuç: ELSBM ile sürekli ebe liderliğinde bakım ile evde doğum yapabileceğini düşünen kadınların oranının istenilen düzeyde olmadığı görülmektedir ancak gebelerin neredeyse yarısının modelin maternal riskleri azaltacağını, yarısından daha fazlasının yenidoğan risklerini azaltacağını ve bebeğini daha etkili emzirmede etkili olacağını düşünmelerinin saptanması oldukça dikkat çekicidir.
