Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to determine the agricultural entrepreneurship tendencies of the students studying at associate, undergraduate and graduate level in the field of organic agriculture. In this context, agricultural entrepreneurship tendencies of the students were examined according to gender, quality of the place where they grew up, monthly income level of the family, degree of the program they were educated and type of personality.
Design/Methodology/Approach: In this study, quantitative research method was used. In this context, data was collected through a questionnaire from 107 organic agriculture department students studying at Bayburt University, Igdır University and Osmaniye Korkut Ata University. Two scales, "General Agricultural Entrepreneurship Scale and" Organic Agriculture Entrepreneurship Scale, have been used in the study. The data obtained as a result of the research were analyzed and interpreted in SPSS 22.0 program.
Findings: As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that organic agriculture students have both general agricultural entrepreneurship tendency and organic agriculture entrepreneurship tendency.
Originality/Value: This study is important in terms of revealing the agricultural entrepreneurship tendencies of organic agriculture students and the result that these students should be supported in entrepreneurship.
