In this article the effect is examined of solecisms (Lahn) that appears in the society by together living of Arabians and non-Arabians and pervades in time, on studies made in the field of Arabic language. The mistakes which are seen in daily speakings especially while reading the Qur’an, impelled scholars to study for the purpose of providing the correct usage of the language. These actions can be lined up as taking steps aimed at improving the Arabic writing, determination of grammar rules. In addition, the widespread of solecisms in cities has also affected the activities aimed at identifying the authentic language material. The linguists applied to the tribes where the Bedouin lived, where the original form of the language was preserved. Although solecism was a reason for these actions, the final cause of these studies was to chain the Arabic language, the language of the Qur’an. Besides the actions being talked of, aims like pointing to solecisms and creating disparity by writing separate works subjecting solecism in the Arabic Literature had also a strong influence on the society.
