Guidelines for Library Services to Prisoners - 3rd Edition

Abstract

Prisonlibrary is one of the most important components of rehabilitation of incarcerated persons. This paper is the translation of the latest revision guidelines issued by IFLA, titled “Guidelines for Library Services to Prisoners ” by Vibeke Lehmann and Joanne Locke These 2005 guidelines, developed to assistprison library management and staff in providing the prisoners with efficient and satisfying library andinformation service, are flexible to be adapted to local conditions and settings

Abstract

Cezaevi kütüphanesi hükümlü ve tutukluların rehabilitasyonunun en önemli bileşenlerindendir. Bu belge Vibeke Lehmann ve Joanne Locke tarafından hazırlanmış olan ve en son IFLA tarafından gözden geçirilip yayınlanan “Guidelines for Library Services to Prisoners” adlı kılavuzun çevirisidir. Ceza infaz kurumu kütüphane yönetimi ve personeline, etkin ve tatmin edici bir kütüphane hizmeti sunulmasında yardımcı olmak amacıyla hazırlanan 2005 yılına ait bu ilkeler yerel koşullara ve ortamlara uyarlanabilir esnekliktedir.
