Year 2019, Volume: 9 Issue: 54, 821 - 840, 23.09.2019

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinde algılanan sosyal destek, benlik saygısı ve sabır arasındaki ilişkileri ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma 512 üniversite öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir (353 %68.9 kadın, 159 %31.1 erkek). Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 21.78 (ss: 2.21)’dir. Araştırmada; Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği, İki Boyutlu Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği (Kendini Sevme/Özyeterlik), Sabır Ölçeği ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre, algılanan sosyal destek ve benlik saygısının öğrencilerin sabır düzeylerine doğrudan etkisi görülmüştür. Ayrıca araştırmada sosyal desteğin benlik saygısı üzerinde doğrudan etkisi bulunmuştur. Araştırmanın sonunda araştırmanın gelecekteki etkileri ve sınırlılıkları belirtilmiştir.
