The aim of this study is to create wildlife diversity maps and 3D risk maps with respect to geographical risk factors by using 3D spatial analysis methods within the geographical information systems in regions determined as hunting areas. In this context, Kalkım Town, which is in the responsibility area of the Çanakkale National Parks Branch Directorate, has been selected as a pilot area. Firstly, it is aimed to determine the animal diversity and population in the region. For this purpose, a survey has been implemented among the people living in the region and engaged hunting activities. Although preliminary results show the diversity and habitat of the animals, further studies will continue in order to obtain detailed information. In this study, information about hunter profile in the region is given as graphs. Also, as a result of the 3D spatial analysis by using SRTM DEM data, different risk maps with respect to geographical risk factors are created and results are presented in the study.
