The creation and drawing of a three-dimensional (3D) model of historical and cultural structures has become an important issue. In particular, the importance of preserving, documenting and transferring historical artifacts to future generations is gradually increasing. Documentation studies have gained momentum with the digital age. Photogrammetry method is a method used for years in documentation studies. With the development of computer and information technology, the classical photogrammetry method has been replaced by the digital photogrammetry method. The realization of digital photogrammetry methods with computers has saved a lot of cost and time compared to traditional methods. In this study, photogrammetric research was carried out for the purpose of documentation in Yakutiye Madrasa in Erzurum. The photographs used in the study were taken from the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The 3D model study was carried out by photogrammetric method in Context Capture software and as vector drawing in Sketchup software. Within the scope of the study, the mean square error of the model was calculated in the X, Y, Z Context Capture software, 2.16, 2.26, 2.04 mm, respectively, using 10 checkpoints measured from the field. At the end of the study, the advantages of UAVs in photogrammetry technique applications are discussed.
