This study was conducted to determine the effect of varıous rates of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.), sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia Scop.) and ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam) and their leans on silage and feed quality. In this study were used Kayseri alfalfa variety, Lütfibey sainfoin variety and Caramba ryegrass variety as plant material. All species tested were sown separately in field crops trial field of Siirt University. It was used varıous rates of (75:25, 50:50, 25:75) silages and their leans were prepared. In the study, silage pH, dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), flieg score, acid detergent insoluble fiber (ADF), neutral detergent insoluble fiber (NDF), digestible dry matter (DDM), dry matter intake (DMI) and relative feed values (RFV) properties were measured. The results ındıcated that; The average silage pH value was 4.89, DM was 38.35%, CP was 17.05%, the flieg value was 86.52 points, the ADF was 33.07%, the NDF was 45.46%, the DDM was 63.14%, the DMI was 2.70% and the RFV was 132.09. The quality of silage produced from lean alfalfa was high for some characteristics of silage quality when compared with the silages of other lean varieties. In mixture silages, it was recommended the mixture silage of Ryegrass (25%) + alfalfa (75%) within mixture silages were the best mixtures.
Bu çalışmanın amacı, yalın ve farklı oranlarda karıştırılan yonca (Medicago sativa L.), korunga (Onobrychis viciifolia Scop.) ve İtalan çimi (Lolium multiflorum Lam) hâsıllarının silaj ve yem kalitesine etkisinin araştırılmasıdır. Denemede bitki materyali olarak; Kayseri yonca çeşidi, Lütfibey korunga çeşidi ve Caramba İtalyan çimi çeşidi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma; Siirt Üniversitesi Tarla Bitkileri deneme tarlasında yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada yalın ve farklı oranlarda (75:25, 50:50, 25:75) silajlara ait pH, kuru madde, ham protein, flieg puanı, asit deterjanda çözünmeyen lif (ADF), nötr deterjanda çözünmeyen lif (NDF), sindirilebilir kuru madde (SKM), kuru madde tüketimi (KMT) ve nispi yem değerleri (NYD) incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucuna göre; silajlara ait ortalama pH değeri 4.89, kuru madde oranı %38.35, ham protein oranı %17.05, flieg değeri 86.52 puan, ADF oranı %33.07, NDF oranı %45.46, SKM oranı %63.14, KMT oranı %2.70 ve NYD ise 132.09 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Saf yoncadan elde edilen silaj kalitesinin diğer yalın ve karışımlara göre daha üstün olduğu saptanmıştır.
