OLASI BİR KATALAN AYRILIĞININ AB ENTEGRASYONUNA ETKİLERİNİN SWOT ANALİZİ ÇERÇEVESİNDE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Avrupa Birliği (AB) bünyesinde yer alan ülkelerde ayrılma taleplerini en güçlü şekilde ifade eden halk Katalanlar olmuştur. İspanya’ya bağlı Katalonya bölgesinin özerklik talebiyle başlayan self-determinasyon istekleri tarihsel süreç içerisinde ayrılma talebine dönüşmüştür. Söz konusu talepler sonucunda İspanya’dan gerçekleşecek olası bir Katalan ayrılığının AB açısından birtakım belirsizlikler yaratacağı muhakkaktır. Dolayısıyla olası bir ayrılığın, özellikle AB bünyesinde bulunan azınlıklar üzerindeki etkileri bağlamında AB entegrasyonuna nasıl etki edeceğinin incelenmesi önem taşımaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışma, Katalan halkın ayrılma taleplerinin tarihsel süreç içerisinde yaşadığı değişim ve dönüşümü ele alarak, muhtemel bir Katalan ayrılığının AB entegrasyonuna nasıl etki edeceğini tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu etkilerin detaylı bir şekilde belirlenebilmesi için durum analizi yapılması önem arz etmektedir. Bunu gerçekleştirmenin yollarından biri, SWOT analizi olduğundan çalışma özelinde SWOT analizinden yararlanılmıştır.
