Investigatıon of Different Particle Size Quartz On Electroporcelain Body

Abstract

Porcelain is the most common material used in the manufacture of insulators. Although raw materials similar to other porcelain products are used in the production of porcelain insulators, they are extremely special products in terms of technical and characteristic features that the final product must provide. Quartz-based porcelain insulators are used in low and high voltage levels. Quartz, which is the main component in quartz-based porcelain, plays an extremely important role on the technical and characteristic features of the body. In this study, the effects of quartz raw material in different grain sizes on the porcelain insulator were investigated. For this purpose, porcelain insulator sludge was prepared with quartz with 45µ, 63 µ and 100 µ grain sizes with a maximum 1% residue. The physical and thermal properties of the prepared recipes were analyzed. As the quartz grain size increased, a significant decrease was determined in the firing and dry strength values. With increasing grain size, water absorption and apparent porosity increased, and firing shrinkage decreased. At the end of the study, as the quartz grain size increases, the basic physical properties deteriorate. The ideal grain size to be studied was determined as 45 microns.

Farklı Tane Boyutlarındaki Kuvarsın Elektroporselen Bünyeye Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Porselen, izolatör üretiminde kullanılan en yaygın malzemedir. Porselen izolatörlerin üretiminde, diğer porselen ürünlerine benzer hammaddeler kullanılsa da nihai ürünün sağlaması gereken teknik ve karakteristik özellikler bakımdan son derece özel ürünlerdir. Kuvars esaslı porselen izolatörler ise alçak ve yüksek gerilim kademelerinde kullanılmaktadır. Kuvars esaslı porselenlerde ana bileşen olan kuvars bünyenin teknik ve karakteristik özellikleri üzerinde son derece önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışmada farklı tane boyutlarındaki kuvars hammaddesinin porselen izolatör bünyesindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Bu amaçla elek üstü bakiyeleri en fazla %1 olan 45µ, 63 µ ve 100 µ tane boyutuna sahip kuvarsla porselen izolatör çamuru hazırlanmıştır. Hazırlanan reçetelerin fiziksel ve termal özellikleri analiz edilmiştir. Kuvars tane boyutu yükseldikçe pişme ve kuru mukavemet değerlerinde gözle görülür bir düşüş belirlenmiştir. Tane boyutunun yükselmesiyle, su emme ve görünür porozite yükselmiş, pişme küçülmesi azalmıştır. Çalışma sonunda kuvars tane boyutu yükseldikçe temel fiziksel özellikler kötüleşmektedir. İdeal çalışılacak tane boyutu 45 mikron olarak belirlenmiştir.
