BİREYLERİN MOBİL SAĞLIK UYGULAMALARINA İLİŞKİN GÖRÜŞLERİ

Year 2022, Volume: 8 Issue: 3, 394 - 407, 31.12.2022

Abstract

Opinions of Individuals on Mobile Health Applications

Year 2022, Volume: 8 Issue: 3, 394 - 407, 31.12.2022

Abstract

Mobile health is the provision of health services with smart devices and mobile technologies. One of the most important factors affecting and determining the success of mobile health applications is users. For this reason, this study was carried out to determine the opinions of individuals about mobile health applications. In this descriptive study, no sample selection was made, and it was carried out with 240 people who voluntarily agreed to participate in the study in 2019 with the snowball sampling method. The data of the study were collected with a socio-demographic data form and a mobile health questionnaire consisting of four dimensions. The collected data were analyzed with the SPSS program. Since the data did not show normal distribution, non-parametric tests were applied. As a result of the analyzes, it has been determined that the views on mobile health applications consisting of accessibility, benefit, trust and usability dimensions are generally positive. This indicates that the rate of using more advanced mobile technologies in terms of quality and quantity will become widespread in the near future. The study also examined whether the views on mobile health applications differ according to various demographic factors.
