Yoğun Bakım Ünitelerinde Sağlık Hizmeti İlişkili Enfeksiyonlardan Korunma

Abstract

Sağlık hizmeti ile ilişkili enfeksiyonlar (SHİE'ler) önemli bir halk sağlığı sorunudur. SHİE'ler yoğun bakım ünitesinde ve hastanede kalış sürelerini uzatır, antibiyotik tüketimini ve bakım maliyetlerini artırır. SHİE'lerin ortaya çıkışı, patojen faktörlerin (virulans, antibiyotik direnci), konakçı faktörlerin (komorbidite, akut hastalık), tedavi faktörlerinin (invaziv cihazlar, antibiyotik seçimi), sağlık hizmetleri süreçlerinin (personel, koruma yöntemleri) ve hatta klimatolojik koşulların karmaşık etkileşiminden kaynaklanır. İlgili patojenlerin çoğu endojen kaynaklı olmasına rağmen, mikroorganizmalar bakım sırasında insan veya çevresel kaynaklardan da alınabilir. Bu derlemede yoğun bakımda SHİE’leri önlemek için mevcut kanıta dayalı son veriler özetlenmektedir.
