Bu çalışmanın amacı, Düzlemsel Çift Tabakalı Uzay Kafes Sistemlerde, yaygın geometrik
kusurlardan biri olan başlangıç eğrilik kusurunun mevcut olması durumunda, bu kusurun sistemin yük
taşıma kapasitesine etkisini incelemektir. Yapı modellerinin simülasyonu için genel amaçlı sonlu
elemanlar analiz programı olan ABAQUS programı kullanılmıştır. Elemanların tasarım hesabı ise “Yük
ve Dayanım Katsayıları ile Tasarım (YDKT)” ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada elemanların
malzeme ve geometri bakımından doğrusal olmayan davranışları göz önünde bulundurulmuş ve
elemanlardaki başlangıç eğrilik kusurlarının sola çarpık olasılık dağılımına sahip olduğu kabul edilmiştir.
Düzlemsel Çift Tabakalı Uzay Kafes Sistemlerde, başlangıç eğrilik kusurlarının sistemlerin yük taşıma
kapasitesine önemli ölçüde etkisinin olduğu görülmüştür. Bu etkinin kusur dağılımı ile değişkenlik
gösterdiği ortaya konmuştur.

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of geometric curvature imperfection, which is
one of the known type of geometric imperfections, on the load carrying capacity of Flat Double Layer
Grid Systems. ABAQUS, a general purpose finite element analysis program, was used for the simulation
of building models. Design calculation of the elements was carried out with “Load and Resistance Factor
Design (LRFD)”. In addition, nonlinear behavior of the elements in terms of material and geometry is
considered in this study and it is assumed that the initial curvature imperfections in the elements have a
left skewed probability distribution. According to the results of the analysis, it has been found that the
initial curvature imperfections have a significant effect on the load carrying capacity of the Flat Double
Layer Grid Systems. This effect has found to vary according to imperfections.
