Mülkiye is one of the educational institutions established as a result of reform movements within the scope of the modernization efforts of the Ottoman State. Establishment aims of Mülkiye; is determined to train qualified personnel to the cadres in the bureaucracy and to fulfill public duties according to the requirements of the era through these persons. The first meeting of Turkish Cypriot youth with Mülkiye was towards the end of the 19th century. During this period, the Turkish Cypriots, who migrated to the Motherland for various purposes, served in the Ottoman bureaucracy after they completed their education in Mülkiye. For many years after the First World War, Turkish Cypriot youth had to stop their education in Mülkiye. The Turkish Cypriot youth started the education again in Mülkiye that coincided with the period after the Second World War. This period was also the beginning of the years when Cyprus was on the agenda as an international problem. During this period, Turkish Cypriot youth attended the community resistance movement while continuing their education in Mülkiye. Turkish Cypriot youth, who completed their education in Mülkiye, made important contributions to the nationalization process of the Turkish Cypriot community. In the study, which is carried out to reveal the effect of the knowledge and abilities obtained during their education in Mülkiye on the nationalization process of the Turkish Cypriot community; first and second hand sources are scanned, studies are carried out in the Faculty of Political Sciences and the Presidential Republic Archive, and a historical interview is held with İsmail Bozkurt, who played an important role in the nationalization process of the Turkish Cypriot people.
