SAĞLIK SEKTÖRÜNDE SÜRDÜRÜLEBİLİR LİDERLİK İLE KURUMSAL İTİBAR ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract

Sağlık kuruluşlarında yöneticiler, kaynakların etkili bir şekilde yönetilmesinde, hasta ve çalışan güvenliğinin sağlanmasında ve memnuniyet düzeylerinin artırılmasında da merkezi bir rol oynamaktadır. Sürdürülebilir liderlik uygulamalarının önemi, çevresel katkıların ötesinde, kurumsal itibar gibi somut olmayan bir varlık aracılığıyla kuruluşun hayatta kalması, farklılaşması ve rekabet avantajı elde etmesinde büyük bir etkiye sahiptir. Bu araştırma, sağlık çalışanlarının sürdürülebilir liderlik algıları ile kurumlarının kurumsal itibar algıları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Anket yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen bu nicel çalışma, İstanbul'daki çeşitli hastanelerde (kamu, özel ve üniversiteye bağlı) çalışan ve kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle gönüllü olarak katılan 256 sağlık profesyoneli arasında yürütülmüştür. Bulgular, sağlık çalışanlarının sürdürülebilir liderlik algısı ile kurumsal itibar algısı arasında anlamlı ve pozitif bir ilişki olduğunu ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, demografik özelliklere göre sürdürülebilir liderliğin boyutları arasında anlamlı farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Çalışma, sürdürülebilirlik uygulamalarının benimsenmesinin sadece çevresel faydaları için değil, aynı zamanda kurumsal itibarı artırmada da büyük bir katkı sağladığını vurgulamaktadır.

ASSESSMENT OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SUSTAINABLE LEADERSHIP AND CORPORATE REPUTATION IN THE HEALTHCARE SECTOR

Abstract

In healthcare organizations, managers play a central role in effectively managing resources, ensuring patient and employee safety, and increasing satisfaction levels. The significance of sustainable leadership practices extends beyond environmental contributions, profoundly impacting an organization's survival, differentiation, and competitive advantage through tangible assets like corporate reputation. This study aims to explore the relationship between healthcare workers' perceptions of sustainable leadership and their organizations' corporate reputation. Conducted quantitatively through a survey method, the research engaged 256 healthcare professionals from various hospitals in Istanbul (public, private, and university-affiliated), who volunteered through convenience sampling. Findings reveal a significant and positive relationship between healthcare workers' perceptions of sustainable leadership and their perceptions of corporate reputation. Additionally, significant differences were observed in the dimensions of sustainable leadership based on demographic characteristics. The study emphasizes that adopting sustainability practices contributes not only to environmental benefits but also significantly enhances corporate reputation.
