Abstract

Türkiye’de düzenlenen Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongrelerine ilk katılımım, 2007 yılında Kartepe’de düzenlenen 15. Ulusal Yönetim ve Organizasyon Kongresinde gerçekleşmişti. Kariyerim açısından bu kongreyi anlamlı kılan olay ise aynı kongrede bütün katılımcılara yönelik düzenlenen bir seminerdi. Seminerin adı “Hipotez Gökten Düşmez”, sunuşu yapan kişi ise Sayın Prof. Dr. Behlül Üsdiken hocamızdı. O sunumu, araştırma yapmaya bakış açımı etkilemesi bakımından akademik kariyerimin bir dönüm noktası olarak nitelendiriyorum. Yıllar içerisinde Sayın Prof. Dr. Behlül Üsdiken hocamızı gerek yayınları ile gerekse de bilimsel etkinliklerdeki sunuşları ve adeta bir okul gibi olan kongre oturumları arasındaki kısa ayak üstü konuşmalarla yakından tanıma fırsatı buldum. Bir çok yeni okumaya ve yeni araştırmaya yelken açmamda bana önemli katkıları olan hocalarımdan biri olmuştur. Akademik kariyerim açısından önemli bir yerde konumlandırdığım hocamızın arkadaşlarıyla birlikte yazdığı kitabını inceleyerek eser hakkındaki görüşlerimi Türkiye’deki yönetim ve organizasyon alanında çalışan meslektaşlarımla paylaşmak istiyorum.
