A Review on Innovative Supply Chain Practices and Their Impact

Öz

Factors such as technological developments and changes in needs, efficiency, flexibility, companies’ efforts to introduce new products to the market, the necessity of short product delivery times to the consumer and short product life have led to the emergence of an intense competitive environment. It is important for firms to keep up with economic and technological developments and rapidly changing market conditions while carrying themselves into the future. The formal and dimensional change in the market structure in which companies operate requires them to reveal their differences with a successful supply chain in order to survive. Innovation practices in the supply chain have a positive impact on firms, sectors, and countries, and the world’s leading companies do not hesitate to carry out innovative activities in this regard. In this study, the concept of innovation in the supply chain is discussed. Successful examples of supply chain innovation worldwide and their effects are analyzed.

Yenilikçi Tedarik Zinciri Uygulamaları ve Etkileri Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Öz

Teknolojik gelişmeler ve ihtiyaçlardaki değişmeler, verimlilik, esneklik, firmaların pazara yeni ürün sunma çabası, tüketiciye ürün ulaştırma sürelerinin kısa olma zorunluluğu ve ürün ömrünün kısa olması gibi faktörler yoğun bir rekabet ortamının meydana gelmesine sebep olmuştur. Firmaların kendilerini geleceğe taşırken ekonomik, teknolojik gelişmelere ve hızla değişen piyasa koşullarına ayak uydurması önemlidir. Firmaların faaliyet gösterdikleri pazar yapısının biçimsel ve boyutsal olarak değişmesi, ayakta kalabilmeleri için başarılı bir tedarik zinciri ile farklılıklarını ortaya koymalarını gerektirmektedir. Tedarik zincirinde yapılan yenilik uygulamaları firmalara, sektöre ve ülkelere olumlu etki etmekte, bu konuda dünyanın önde gelen firmaları yenilikçi faaliyetler gerçekleştirme konusunda tereddüt etmemektedir. Bu çalışmada, tedarik zinciri temelinde yenilikçilik kavramı ele alınmıştır. Dünya çapındaki başarılı tedarik zinciri yenilik örnekleri ve bunların etkileri incelenmiştir.
