LATİN AMERİKA’DA TOPLUMSAL HAREKETLER: 26 TEMMUZ HAREKETİ

Öz

Küba Devrimi ve onun tarihsel süreci, Türkiye’deki sosyal bilimlerde Latin Amerika çalışmalarının merkezinde yer almaktadır. Bu makalede Küba 26 Temmuz Hareketi, Latin Amerika toplumsal hareketleri bağlamında incelenmektedir. Çalışma üç bölümde incelenmektedir. İlk olarak, Latin Amerika'nın yapısı incelenmekte, ardından sömürgecilik tarihi ve toplumsal muhalefet tarihi incelenmektedir. Bu bölümde 26 Temmuz Hareketi ve Küba, Latin Amerika’ perspektifinde okunmaktadır. Bu bölüm toplumsal hareketler literatürünün incelendiği ve eski-yeni toplumsal hareketler ayrımının irdelendiği bölümdür. Küba’daki toplumsal hareket, toplumsal hareketler kavramı etrafında ele alınmaktadır. Çalışma, Küba Devrimi’nin eski ve yeni toplumsal hareketler ayrımını aşan bir örnek olduğunu ileri sürmektedir. Yine aynı bölümde Küba Devrimi ve 26 Temmuz Hareketi'ni anlamak için benzer örnekleri okuma gerekliliğinden hareketle Latin Amerika’daki toplumsal hareketler incelenmektedir. Burada ise, Latin Amerika’daki hareketlerin Küba Devrimi’nden etkilenmeleri ve onu etkilemelerinin altı çizilmektedir. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümü Küba Devrimi ve onun öznesi olan 26 Temmuz Hareketi’ni tarihsel bir süreklilik içerisinde ele almaktadır. Burada 26 Temmuz Hareketi’ni lider odaklı bir perspektifle değil süreç odaklı bir perspektifle incelemenin gerekliliği vurgulanmaktadır. Aksi halde tarihsel süreç inkar edilecek ve bilimsellikten uzaklaşılacaktır. Sonuç bölümünde ise çalışmanın bütününde uluslararası ilişkilerde Küba Devrimi ve bu devrimin yol açtığı sonuçlar incelenmiştir. Çalışmada Küba Devrimi'nin sosyalist karakterinden önce popülist, modernleştirici ve anti-emperyalist karakteri vurgulanmaktadır. Çalışmada yöntem olarak, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden literatür taraması ve doküman analizine dayanmaktadır.

SOCIAL MOVEMENTS IN LATIN AMERICA: 26th OF JULY MOVEMENT

Öz

The Cuban Revolution and its historical process are at the centre of Latin American studies in social sciences in Turkey. This article examines the Cuban 26th of July Movement in the context of Latin American social movements. The study is analysed in three parts. First, the structure of Latin America is examined, followed by the history of colonialism and social opposition. In this section, the 26th of July Movement and Cuba are read from the perspective of 'Latin America'. This section is the section in which the social movements literature is examined and the distinction between old and new social movements is examined. The social movement in Cuba is handled around the concept of social movements. The study argues that the Cuban Revolution is an example that transcends the distinction between old and new social movements. Again, in the same section, social movements in Latin America are examined based on the necessity of reading similar examples to understand the Cuban Revolution and the 26th of July Movement. Here, on the other hand, it is underlined that movements in Latin America were influenced by and influenced the Cuban Revolution. The second part of the study deals with the Cuban Revolution and its subject, the 26th of July Movement, in a historical continuity. Here, it is emphasized that it is necessary to examine the 26th of July Movement with a process-oriented perspective, not a leader-oriented perspective. Otherwise, the historical process will be denied, and it will be moved away from being scientific. In the conclusion part of the study, the Cuban Revolution in international relations and the results of this revolution are examined. In the study, the populist, modernizing and anti-imperialist character of the Cuban Revolution is emphasized before its socialist character. As a method in the study, it is based on literature review and document analysis from qualitative research methods.
